The Swiss Federation of Dance Schools was created in Bern in 1992 under the impetus of XX and with the aim of promoting the quality of dance education in Switzerland.

The FSED thus works by ensuring the students of member schools, the best possible education and ensuring that the dance schools attached to it maintain a high level of requirements in their teaching.

Listening to them and promoting networking are the goal of sharing knowledge to support member schools in their work of transmission. FSED member schools also have common regulations guaranteeing the quality of teaching and common educational values.
